Golden Eaglets
forward Rapha Adams has expressed confidence that the team will secure maximum
points in their final group game against Togo at the WAFU B U-17 Championship.
The defending champions are set to face the Junior Hawks at the University
Stadium in Accra on Wednesday at 5pm Nigeria time.
“We thank God for the victory over Niger. It was a tough game. No game is easy, and we know that the game against Togo will be another tough one as well,” Adams said in an interview with thenff.com in Accra, Ghana, on Tuesday evening.
He emphasized the
team's commitment, stating, “We will defend, attack, and score as a team by the
grace of God. We have been working hard in training and will work even harder
on match day. Our coaches have been teaching us a lot, and if we can apply
everything we’ve learned against Togo, we will come out victorious.”
