The match between Nigeria and Togo has been rescheduled to Thursday morning due to a heavy downpour at University Stadium. Originally slated for 5 pm today, the WAFU B U-17 Championship Group B encounter will now kick off at 9 am Nigerian time, as confirmed by Golden Eaglets media officer Francis Achi.
Similarly, the
other Group B match between Burkina Faso and Niger Republic has been postponed
to Thursday morning for the same reason and will be played concurrently with
the Nigeria vs. Togo game.
The Golden Eaglets need just a point from their match against Togo to advance to
the semi-finals. Meanwhile, hosts Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire have already secured
their spots in the last four.
