Fleeing Hyena from Jos Wildlife Park Captured and Returned to Cage

 

The missing hyena from Jos Wildlife Park has been safely captured and returned to its enclosure, according to Plateau State Tourism Corporation (PSTC). The hyena, which escaped its cage, was found after an intensive search. PSTC's General Manager, Chuwang Pwajok, confirmed the hyena was tranquilized and secured.

In a statement, Pwajok expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation, which was instrumental in the animal's safe return. The Jos Wildlife Park remains a key tourist attraction in Plateau State, known for its conservation efforts.

The management of the Plateau State Tourism Corporation, PSTC, had on Monday announced the disappearance of a hyena that escaped its cage at the Jos Wildlife Park.
