The Confederation of African Football (CAF)
has announced the transfer windows for teams participating in the 2024/25
Champions League and Confederation Cup. According to CAF's official website,
there will be four designated transfer windows for the upcoming season.
The first transfer window is set for July 1
to July 20, 2024, covering the preliminary and second preliminary rounds of the
competitions. The second transfer window will take place from September 1 to
September 30, 2025, focusing on the group stages.
From January 1 to January 30, 2025, teams
will be allowed to register up to seven additional players, including four
replacements, to strengthen their squads for the latter stages of the
tournaments.
The winners and runners-up of the Nigeria
Premier Football League will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, the third-place team and the President Federation Cup winner will
compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
