Chief Edozie Njoku, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has announced the resolution of the party's internal crisis. Following a Supreme Court verdict in his favor, Njoku is now recognized as the legitimate Chairman by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In
a press conference held in Abuja on Friday, Njoku clarified that there is no
conflict between him and Chukwuma Soludo, the Anambra State Governor and the
only Governor elected on APGA’s platform. He emphasized the party's focus on
reconciliation, urging members and the press to support the newfound peace.
Njoku
stated, “The struggle and crisis in APGA are now over. We have been moving
around for reconciliation, and I am pleased to announce that there is no longer
any quarrel within the party. INEC's recognition and the Supreme Court’s
judgment have brought this crisis to an end.”
He also appealed to the media to avoid creating unnecessary tension within the party, highlighting the importance of unity and peace after a prolonged period of internal conflict. Njoku's message was clear: APGA is now united and ready to move forward.
